RESOLUTION NO, 12 <br />ATTACHMENT <br />A RESOLUTION of THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE <br />CITY of REDWOOD CITY RECOMMENDING THAT THE CITY <br />COUNCIL APPROVE A PARCEL MAP FOR THE PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, B E properties Inc. seeks to construct ar residential <br />development project at within ro the Veterans Boulevard mixed Use Corridor M C- <br />V Zoning District consisting of 264 residential units in a multi- -story building with <br />asS olat d parking, landscaping, and improvements to Veterans Boulevar <br />generally consistent with the MUC-VB Zoning District regulations (PCB 2011-02 or <br />the "Project"); and <br />WHEREAS, , ors January 17, 2012, the Planning Commission considered <br />and approved a Initial Study Mitigated Negative Declaration IS MN prepared <br />for the Project in accordance with the requirements of the California <br />E nvironmental Q uality Act "C " and, based on the approved IS , <br />considered and adopted a Mitigation Monitoring and Deporting Program in <br />compliance with all CE QA requirements, es part of the City's consideration of a <br />Parcel Map for the project and <br />WHEREAS, on January 17, 2612, the Commission considered and <br />conditionally approved a Planned Development permit which was prepa and <br />completed in compliance with the City of Redwood City General Plan the <br />Redwood City Municipal Code and Article 46 of Zoning Ordinance; and <br />WHEREAS, on January 17, 2012, the Planning Commission conducted a <br />duly noticed public hearing, in accordance with all applicable requirements of the <br />State Planning and Zoning Law and the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, to <br />consider approval of an 1SNIND, a Planned Development pment Permit Application and <br />considered oral and docnnentary evidence on the application for the project <br />located at 640 veterans Boulevard; and <br />WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has determined that the proposed <br />project would further the purposes of and appropriately implement the City of <br />Redwood city General Plan, applicable le provision f the Redwood City Municipal <br />Code and Zoning Ordinance, and the 640 Ve terans Boulevard Residential <br />Project. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1.
