05/07/2012 <br /> ORIGINAL <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 2381 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD <br /> CITY AMENDING SECTION 40.4.1 OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE OF THE <br /> CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO HISTORIC RESOURCES <br /> ADVISORY COMMITTEE <br /> The City Council of the City of Redwood City does ordain as follows: <br /> Section 1. The following sections and subsections of the Redwood City <br /> Municipal Code shown below are hereby amended by adding the text shown in bold <br /> italics (example) and deleting the text shown in strikeout (e�ar��le). Text in brackets <br /> [example] is explanatory and is not part of the text. <br /> Section 2. Section 40.4.1 of the Code of the City of Redwood City is hereby <br /> amended to read as follows: <br /> SECTION 40.4.1. HISTORIC RESOURCES ADVISORY COMMITTEE: <br /> The Commission shall appoint a Historic Resources Advisory Committee to <br /> advise and make recommendations to the Commission in accordance with the <br /> provisions of this Chapter. The Committee shall consist of five (5) members who <br /> shall be appointed from, but not limited to, such professions, disciplines and <br /> interests as: members of the Redwood City Heritage Association and other <br /> preservation related organizations; licensed architects and structural engineers; <br /> urban planners and landscape architects; attorneys and real estate experts; <br /> members of community groups and residents within historic districts, occupants <br /> of historic landmarks and owners of historic sites. Not less than <br /> four (4) members shall, at the time of their appointment and continuously during <br /> their incumbency, be residents and electors of the City. <br /> The term of each member shall be three (3) years. An appointment to fill an <br /> unexpired term shall be for the remainder of such unexpired term. <br /> The Historic Resources Advisory Committee shall hold regular meetings at least <br /> once a month. If a member of the Committee is absent from three (3) successive <br /> regular or noticed special meetings duly held by the Committee, except by <br /> permission of the Committee, the appointment of such member to the Committee <br /> shall be considered to be terminated; and the Committee shall give notice of <br /> such vacancy to the member so terminated and to the Planning Commission. <br /> Section 3. The City Council finds that this Ordinance is not subject to the <br /> California Environmental Quality Act ("CEQA") and the State CEQA Guidelines <br /> (California Code of Regulations, Title 14, Sections 15000 et seq., hereafter the "CEQA <br /> ATTY/ORD.370/AMENDING SEC 40.4.1(2 TIME) HRAC ORD. # 2381 <br /> REV: 04-16-12 PT MUFF # 305 <br /> Page 1 of 2 <br />
