JOINT EXERCISE OF POWERS AGREEMENT <br /> SOUTH BAYS IDE SYSTEM AUTHORITY <br /> Supplemental Agreement IV <br /> <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, dated for convenience as of Sept. 1 8 , <br /> 1985, by and between the CITY OF BELMONT ("Belmont "), a general <br /> law City, the CITY OF REDWOOD CITY ( II Redwood Ci ty"), a chartered <br /> City, the CITY OF SAN CARLOS ("San Carlos"), a general law City, <br /> and WEST BAY SANITARY DISTRICT ( II West Bay"; formerly named the <br /> Menlo Park Sanitary District), a sanitary district, each duly <br /> organized and existing in the County of San Mateo, State of <br /> California, under the Constitution and laws of the State and <br /> collectively called the "Agencies"; <br />. WIT N E SSE T H : <br /> WHEREAS, the Agencies have heretofore entered into an <br /> agreement dated November 13, 1975, entitled "Joint Exercise of <br /> Powers Agreement - South Bayside System Authority" (the <br /> "Agreementll), and three Supplemental Agreements thereto dated for <br /> convenience as of June 8, 1977, June 1, 1983, and April 26, 1984, <br /> respectively; and <br /> WHEREAS, among other matters, Section 2.4 of the Agreement <br /> provides a specific rate of compensation for members of the <br /> Commission of the South Bayside System Authority; and <br /> WHEREAS, said amount is not compensatory due to changes in <br /> economic conditions; and <br />. <br />
