RESOLUTION NO. 13-14 <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE PLANNING COMMISSION OF THE CITY <br /> 4F REDWOOD CITY RECOMMENDIPlG THE APPROVAL OF A <br /> DISP051TION AND DEVELOPMENT AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY AND HUNTERISTORM, LLC <br /> FOR 950 MIDDLEFIELD R�AD <br /> WHEREAS, Applicant, HunterlStorm, LLC has submitted an application <br /> for a Planned Community Permit for an 8-story cammercial project consisting of <br /> approximately 3�2,OQ0 square feet of office space and 5,075 square feet af <br /> restaurant space located at 950 Middle#ield Raad (the Project)which is within the <br /> Downtown Precise Plan area; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City {City) owns that certain real <br /> property generally located along Middlefield RoadlWinslow Street and the <br /> Caltrain railroad station in Redwood City {City Property), which makes up a <br /> portion of the Project proposed by Applicant; and <br /> WHEREAS, Applicant desires to acquire th� City Property fram the City <br /> and develop the Project; and <br /> WHEREA5, on July 2, 2013, the Commission heid a duiy no�ced public <br /> hearing, in accordance with afl applicable requirements of the Redwood City <br /> Municipal Code, the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance and the Downtown Precise <br /> Plan, on proposed amendments to the Downtown Precise Plan (Downtown <br /> Precise Plan Amendment), the proposed Vesting Tentative Parcel Map <br /> Application No. TM 2013-a3, the proposed Downtown Planned Community <br /> Permit Application No. DPC2012-12, and the proposed Dispositiort and <br /> De�elapment Agreement between the City and HunterlStorm; and <br /> WHEREAS, an July 2, 2013, the Commissian considered an Initial Study <br /> checklist prepared by the City's Planning Di�isian and its findings, the previously <br /> certified Downtown Precise Plan EIR (State Clearinghouse #2006052027}, the <br /> staff reports, oral and written, and festimony and materials presen#ed by all those <br /> wishir�g to be heard on this Project at the noticed public hearing on this matter; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, on July 2, 20'!3, the Commission recommended that the City <br /> Council approrre the proposed Downtown Precise Plan Amendmenf, the <br /> proposed Vesting Tentati�e Parcel Map, the proposed Downtown Planned <br /> Community Permit; and <br /> ATTY/RES0.2$79/PLANNING COMMISSIOM RECpMMENDING APPROVAL OF DDA FOR 950 MfDDLEFfELD RD <br /> REV:Q7-03-13 VR <br /> Page 1 of 4 <br />
