7.2.D. - Page 14 <br /> e. Sweep daily (preferably with water sweepers) all paved access road, parking <br /> areas and staging areas at construction sites. <br /> f. Sweep streets daily (preferably with water sweepers) if visible soil material is <br /> carried onto adjacent public streets. <br /> g. Enclose, cover, water twice daily or apply (non- toxic) soil binders to exposed <br /> stockpiles (dirt, sand, etc.) <br /> h. Install sandbags or other erosion control measures to prevent sift runoff to <br /> public roadways. <br /> i. Properly maintained and tuned construction vehicles to minimize exhaust <br /> emissions. <br /> j. Minimized to the greatest extent possible vehicle idling time. <br /> k. Use dust -proof chutes for loading construction debris onto trucks. <br /> L Comply with all applicable San Mateo County Environmental Health <br /> Department regulations and State and Federal site remediation regulations <br /> in order to ensure that there are no risks to human health from any on -site <br /> contamination discovered during project excavation and/or construction <br /> activities. <br /> 24. If construction is not complete by the start of the wet season (October 15 through April <br /> 15), prior to October 15, the developer shall implement a winterization program to <br /> minimize the potential for erosion and sedimentation. As appropriate to the site and <br /> status of construction, winterization requirements shall include inspecting/ <br /> maintaining /cleaning all soil erosion and sedimentation controls prior to, during, and <br /> immediately after each storm event; stabilizing disturbed soils through temporary or <br /> permanent seeding, mulching, matting, tarping or other physical means; rocking <br /> unpaved vehicle access to limit dispersion of mulch onto public right -of -way; <br /> covering/tarping stored construction materials, fuels, and other chemicals. Plans to <br /> include proposed measures to prevent erosion and polluted runoff from all site conditions <br /> shall be submitted for approval by Engineering & Construction prior to beginning <br /> construction. As site conditions warrant, the City Engineer may direct the developer to <br /> implement additional winterization requirements. <br /> Utilities <br /> 25, City utilities may have to be upgraded as a result of the proposed project. Moreover, all <br /> storm, sewer, and water facilities shall be designed in accordance with Engineering <br /> Standards, Volume III, Design Criteria. <br /> 26. The Developer shall make arrangements for ElectricaliTele.phonelTV Services to any <br /> new buildings to be installed underground. <br /> 27. Development will be subject to the Water and Sewer Treatment Capacity Fee and <br /> Facility Fees. Those fee amounts are yet to be determined. <br /> Page 5 of 7 <br />
