Attachment A <br />• Christmas <br />The website uses images <br />that are copyright clear <br />or owned by the City of <br />Redwood City <br />The City may use images it has copyrighted, <br />as well as stock images which we can <br />provide. <br />Ability to promote our <br />own events or news on <br />the website; possibly <br />through an <br />advertising/banner <br />management system. <br />News can take many forms, including press <br />releases, newsletters, feature stories, and <br />“what’s new” content. With our News and <br />Newsletters component, each of these types <br />of news can be implemented onto a single <br />section of the website or have their own <br />separate area. News content is <br />automatically moved to an archive section <br />at a predefined interval after publishing. <br />Website visitors can browse the archive by <br />category and date range. Additionally, RSS <br />feeds of the News and Newsletters are <br />automatically available to website <br />visitors. <br />URL’s should be <br />meaningful for better <br />bookmarking and search <br />engine use. Example: <br />http://www.rwc.org/counc <br />il/members.html is <br />preferred to <br />http://www.rwc.org/index <br />.asp?sid=23939 <br />The Friendly URL Redirect component allows <br />you to change the address of any page on <br />the City of Redwood City website to <br />www.redwoodcity.org/__________. <br /> The website includes a <br />page of contacts at the <br />City of Redwood City. <br />This directory should <br />include a position, name <br />of current person in <br />that position, phone <br />number, and email <br />address.
