With regard to the Design and Development Report , Commissioner Buckhout <br /> asked if something was going to be done in the near future with regard <br /> to the completion of Palm Park . Mr . Weeks indicated the trees would <br /> be planted in cooperation with the Rotary Club and the completion of <br /> the park would probably be proposed into the Capital Improvement Plan <br /> for next year . <br /> MOTION : Commissioner Weintraub moved to accept the <br /> monthly reports , seconded by Commissioner <br /> Anderson . The motion carried unanimously <br /> by voice vote . <br /> Report Item 3 . Committee Scheduling <br /> The following Committee meetings were scheduled : <br /> Redwood Shores Committee - Tuesday , February 22 , 4 : 00 p . m . <br /> Budget , Capital Improvement and Legislative Committee - Tuesday , <br /> February 15 , 2 : 00 p . m . <br /> Community and Commission Relations Committee - Monday , March 7 , <br /> 4 : 00 p . m . <br /> Commissioner Weintraub asked if the Saturday tour of the parks on <br /> March 5 was still scheduled . Mr . Weeks indicated that it was . <br /> ROUND TABLE <br /> Commissioner Anderson inquired about the watering schedule . Mr . Weeks <br /> indicated that the Parks & Recreation Department have cut back the <br /> watering to about 50% at Redwood Shores and approximately 30 % else- <br /> where . Mr . Weeks stated that he was in the process of initiating <br /> a detailed study to determine the effects of the water reduction <br /> as well as establish an extensive water management plan . <br /> Commissioner Weintraub commented on the trees that were removed for <br /> the subdivision development near Canyon Park . Commissioner Weintraub <br /> felt that the contractor should be cited for the removal of the trees <br /> and felt that it was the Parks and Recreation Department ' s responsi - <br /> bility to follow through on this . Commissioner Anderson indicated <br /> that he would like the Commission ' s protest of the way this was handled <br /> to go on record . Mr . Weeks indicated he would review the situation and <br /> report his findings to Commissioner Weintraub . Commissioner Weintraub <br /> indicated that she would be attending the City Council ' s meeting on <br /> February 14 , to aire her concern as a citizen . <br /> Mr . Weeks informed the Commission that the City Council will be holding <br /> an all -day seminar meeting on February 28th . An important subject of <br /> the seminar will be sewage disposal allocations and its influence on <br /> City growth . Commissioners are urged to attend . <br /> - 5 - <br />
