It is recognized that the late spring rains would , of course , have some <br /> slight influence on this data . However , it is apparent that the water <br /> saving practices being utilized are effectively reducing the consumption <br /> of water for the landscaped areas . This reduction , however , is becoming <br /> quite apparent as judged by the decline in the appearance of many of the <br /> areas . Every effort is being made to retain the high visibility areas <br /> together with the high use areas in as good a condition as possible . As <br /> the warmer summer months approach , the main objective will be to keep <br /> the plant material alive as far as is practical to do so . <br /> - 10- <br />
