Commissioner Anderson informed Mr . Paulson that the lawn area at Franklin <br /> School was so dry that he felt it was a fire hazard . Mr . Paulson indi - <br /> cated that he would check with the School District to find out why the <br /> lawn was so dry and what could be done about it . <br /> Commissioner Anderson also informed Mr . Paulson of a high bush at the <br /> corner of Highland and Jefferson Avenue . Mr . Paulson indicated that <br /> he would forward this information on to Park Superintendent Balzarini <br /> for completion of work . <br /> Chairman Schlesinger asked what the object of the Good Times Parade was . <br /> Commissioner Anderson replied that it was a parade which both participants <br /> and spectators enjoyed . He felt , though , that the parade should be on a <br /> day when the downtown merchants could benefit and help pay for it . <br /> MOTION : There being no further business , Commissioner <br /> Anderson moved , seconded by Commissioner Buckhout , <br /> that the meeting be adjourned . The motion carried <br /> unanimously by voice vote and the meeting was <br /> adjourned at 9 : 19 p . m . <br /> -4- <br />
