The Palm Park project would change as follows : Total - $97 , 364 39 , 077 SB174 ( 76-77 ) 39 , 021 S8174 ( 77 - 78 ) $78 , 098 Sub Total 19 , 524 25% matching - Capital Outlay $97 , 622 TOTAL The original budget allocation indicated the utilization of $9 , 773 of Revenue Sharing funds and $48 , 514 of Capital Outlay funds for the Palm Park project . It is proposed to utilize the $9 , 773 of Revenue Sharing funds and only $9 , 751 of Capital Outlay funds for a total of $ 19 , 524 in order to meet the 25% matching fund require- ment for S8174 block grants . This leaves a balance of $38 , 763 in the Capital Outlay . C . As mentioned above , it is proposed that applications be prepared for Need Basis Grants for initial development of Fleishman and Spinas Parks . Deadline for these applications for fiscal 78-79 is October 1 , 1977 . This work would approximate a total of $ 52 , 940 which would require $17 , 645 in matching funds . The $38 , 763 balance in the Capital Outlay would provide these funds and be reduced by $17 , 645 leaving a balance of approximately $21 , 118 . It should be noted that these additional projects would not require additional maintenance expenditures in that they would replace existing facili - ties . A summary of individual areas is as follows . 1 . Fleishman Park SB174 Needs Grant - $25 , 790 Capital Outlay ( 25% matching ) - 8 , 595 $34 , 385 This would be used to redevelop the existing play area . The pro - ject total is based on the following estimates : $2 , 500 - Site preparation and demolition 2 , 400 - Grading 3 , 300 - Park walkways 1 , 750 - Play area curbing 2 , 400 - Fencing 1 , 050 - Sand 15 , 500 - Play apparatus 1 , 000 - Park Furniture $29 , 900 ( cont . )
