PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT MONTHLY REPORT <br /> DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT <br /> JULY 1977 <br /> Mezes Park <br /> The only work remaining for the completion of Mezes Park is the final <br /> adjustment and corrections to be made to the sprinkler system for the <br /> park . The bonding company contractor has completed the balance of the <br /> work and the project is now awaiting final inspection and acceptance . <br /> Redwood Shores <br /> It is understood that the contractor for the bonding company has now <br /> completed the negotiations for a contract to complete the work at Red- <br /> wood Shores park areas . There still remains some problem with several <br /> of the sub-contractors and the bonding company , however , it is anti - <br /> cipated that work will be underway soon by the new prime contractor . <br /> The work yet to be completed in the Redwood Shores area includes the <br /> completion of the irrigation system , final grading , tennis court <br /> construction , play area construction , and the installation of access <br /> walks . The landscaping of the areas will be deferred until after the <br /> drought has subsided . <br /> -8- <br />
