Raud for assisting in the dis- <br /> cussion . <br /> AGENDA ITEM 2 . Discussion of Bingo Ordinance <br /> Mr . Weeks reviewed the Operational Policy Committee ' s report of May 25 , <br /> 1977 . Chairman Schlesinger indicated that the Commission should take <br /> a very arbitrary stand on this subject . He understood there were various <br /> amendments to the law being discussed in Sacramento and he felt the Com- <br /> mission should stand firm in their decision with respect to the use of <br /> public recreation facilities . <br /> Mr . Weeks pointed out to the Commission that he was advised by the Police <br /> Chief that a study of the various amendments and their relation to the <br /> City ordinance had not as yet been made . The Chief will keep the Depart- <br /> ment advised as to any contemplated changes in the present ordinance . <br /> MOTION : At the conclusion of the discussion , Commissioner <br /> Anderson moved that the recommendation of the <br /> Operational Policies Committee as reported in <br /> their Committee Report of May 25 , 1977 , be <br /> approved . The motion was seconded by Commis - <br /> sioner Buckhout and the motion carried unani - <br /> mously by voice vote . <br /> ( COMMISSIONER KNECHT EXCUSED HIMSELF AT 8 : 50 P . M . ) <br /> REPORTS <br /> Report Item 1 . Monthly Reports <br /> Mr . Weeks indicated that the bonding company has now negotiated with a <br /> contractor to finish the Redwood Shores parks . The contractor hoped <br /> that work would be started soon . Mr . Weeks indicated that sprinkler <br /> -3 - <br />
