PARKS & RECREATION DEPARTMENT MONTHLY REPORT <br /> DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT <br /> DECEMBER 1977 <br /> State Funded Projects <br /> The State funded projects include the work at Red Morton Park , Canyon <br /> Park , Palm Park , Fleishman Park , and Spinas Park . The Palm Park project <br /> has been approved and an application has been made for the advancement <br /> of funds so as to initiate the work as soon as possible the first part <br /> of 1978 . The balance of the projects are still under review by the <br /> State and , therefore , no contract agreements for the projects have been <br /> initiated with the State . It is felt that now that the holidays are <br /> over , progress will now be made toward the State ' s approval of the <br /> grants so that work can proceed with the projects . <br /> Redwood Shores <br /> The electrical work for the project will now proceed as soon as weather <br /> permits . The light poles , fixtures , and electrical panels have been <br /> received by the contractor . Additionally , all of the play apparatus <br /> has now been received and will be installed as soon as weather permits . <br /> -4- <br />
