It is likely that the • renovation <br /> and diving pool construction w i l l be underway at the Community Park <br /> Pool during the summer season of 1978 ; however , the pool is being <br /> kept in readiness for swimming operation if the timing for the recon- <br /> struction of the facility is delayed . <br /> The Street Tree crews found it necessary to respond to several emergency <br /> call -back situations resultant from the damage caused by the winter <br /> wind storm in November . Continuing tree repair work has been necessary. <br /> In addition to the regular street tree pruning requests , the section has <br /> also completed block pruning assignments on Euclid Avenue , Hilton , <br /> Cassia , Maxwell Lane , Leahy Street , Main Street , Naomi Court , Marshall <br /> Court , and Robart Street . Work has also been initiated on the dormant <br /> season pruning of the sycamores in various areas throughout the City . <br /> The major objective for this work this season is the 1300- 1900 block <br /> of Alameda . In addition , many isolated specimens in particular need <br /> of work will be pruned . <br /> -6- <br />
