� f <br /> - . . � . . , .. .�. . . . � .. . <br /> PARKS & REC�REATIOIV.COMMTSS.ION <br /> MINUTES OF APRIL 12, 1978 � <br /> The regular meeting of the Parks & Recreation Comnission was called to <br /> order by Chairman Schlesinger at 7:47 p.m. , in Conference Room 1 of the <br /> Comnunity Activities Building, 1400 Roosevelt Avenue, Redwood City. <br /> MEMBERS PRESENT: Commissioner Anderson, Schlesinger, Weintraub <br /> MEMBERS ABSENT: Commissioners Castle, Hayes, Knecht, Pound <br /> STAFF PRESENT: Max Weeks, Parks & Recreation Director <br /> Bill Paulson, Recreation Superintendent <br /> CITIZENS PRESENT: Ronald Schmidt, Budgie Hobbyists . <br /> Mark Lopez, 505 Pine St. #4, Redwood City , <br /> Ronald Simon, 1157 Jervis Avenue, E. Palo Alto <br /> Due to the lack of a quorum, no official business was conducted. How- <br /> ever, due to the presence of Mr. Ronald Schmidt, representative o�F the <br /> Redwood City Budgie Hobbyists, a presentation was made. Mr. Schmidt <br /> gave a background of the club indicating they have been in Redwood.Gity <br /> for 23 years. He briefed the Commission on the club's activities and <br /> the raising of the budgies. He then presented the Corrnnission a trophy <br /> in appreciation for the services provided by the Park & Recreation Com- <br /> mission and the Department over the many years. Commissioner Schlesinger <br /> thanked Mr. Schmidt for the trophy and indicated it would be displayed <br /> in the building. <br /> The meeting was adjourned at 8:43 p.m. <br /> -1- <br />
