ELECTION OF OFFICERS <br /> The nominating committee under the chairmanship of Commissioner Knecht <br /> nominated Commissioner Schlesinger for the office of Chairman and Com- <br /> missioner Anderson for the office of Vice-Chairman. Chairman Schlesinger <br /> thanked the nominating committee, but declined the nomination. <br /> Commissioner Pound then nominated Commissioner Anderson for the office <br /> of Chairman. <br /> MOTION: Cor�nissioner Knecht moved, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Pound, that the nominations be closed. The motion <br /> passed by unanimous voice vote. <br /> Commissioner Pound nominated Commissioner Castle for the office of <br /> Vice-Chairman. <br /> MOTION: Corranissioner Knecht moved, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Pound, that the nominations be closed. CO-SPONSORSHIP POLICY REVISION <br /> Mr. Weeks indicated the Operational Policies Committee met to discuss <br /> revisions of the co-sponsorship policy. One of the problems faced by <br /> the Department is the necessity to cut-back the basic services which <br /> the Department has been giving to the groups. Upon discussing the <br /> matter with the Committee, it was decided to retain the criteria for <br /> consideration of co-sponsorship, the procedures for seeking co-sponsor- <br /> ship, and requirements for co-sponsorship clubs. The scheduling of <br /> facilities would continue; the listing of their activities would con- <br /> tinue in the seasonal brochures; continue to give out information to <br /> -3- , <br />
