The following services would be dis- <br /> continued: the designing and printing of flyers, programs, and other <br /> projects; providing newspaper publicity upon request; assigning a speci- <br /> fic Recreation Supervisor to assist the club and serve as a liaison to <br /> the club; providing supervision of club activities; and conduct the plan- <br /> ning and organizing of city-wide activities. Mr. Weeks indicated a <br /> letter would be forwarded to all co-sponsored clubs detailing the new <br /> policies and procedures. <br /> MOTION: Commissioner Pound moved, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Hayes, to accept the recommendations of the Opera- <br /> tional Policies Committee. The motion passed <br /> unanimously by voice vote. <br /> Mr. Weeks indicated the Committee also discussed the established fees <br /> and proposed changes for building use which will assist in making the <br /> building operations as self-supporting as possible. <br /> He further indicated that funds collected will be deposited into a � <br /> special account which will be utilized for the operation of the build- <br /> ing facilities. <br /> Mr. Weeks r�viewed the present charges and the proposed increases. The <br /> increases vary between 20% and �40% depending upon the group using the <br /> facility. The resolution, which will be submitted to the Council for <br /> acceptance, will detail the increases in each area. <br /> MOTION: Commissioner Schlesinger moved to accept the <br /> proposed fee increases, seconded by Commissioner <br /> Weintraub. The motion passed unanimously by <br /> voice vote. <br /> MOTION: Commissioner Schlesinger moved, seconded by <br /> Commissioner Hayes, to accept the minutes of <br /> the July 18, 1978, special meeting. The motion <br /> passed unanimously by voice vote. <br /> AGENDA ITEM 4. REVIEtd OF COFI�IITTEE ASSIGNMENTS <br /> The present committee assignments were discussed by the Corr�nission. <br /> The new committee assignments are as follows: <br /> Programming Committee Design & Development Corr�nittee <br /> Castle, Chairman Weintraub, Chairman <br /> Schlesinger Pound <br /> Pound Knecht <br /> -4- <br />
