, � '� <br /> � <br /> RECREATION DIVISION MONTHLY REPORTS <br /> FEBRUARY 1976 <br /> AQUATICS AND ATHLETICS <br /> Supervisor: Bill Wooten <br /> Adult Leagues <br /> During the month of January the Adult Basketball League which includes 47 <br /> men's and four women's teams started the second half of league play. There <br /> are approximately 500 adults participating in eight divisions who play Monday <br /> through Thursday evenings. <br /> The Co-Ed Volleyball League consisting of 11 teams also started the second <br /> round of play. League games are scheduled on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings <br /> at the Sequoia Girls Gym. The drop-in Co-Ed Volleyball program on Thursday <br /> evenings is also very popular with approximately 100 adults playing weekly. <br /> Drop-In Basketball <br /> The Sequoia Boys Gymnasium has been opened on Saturday afternoons for drop-in <br /> basketball during this month of January and wil'i continue to be open Satur- <br /> days through March and during holidays. Additionally, the gym will be open <br /> during Easter Vacation for those who enjoy a good workout in Basketball but <br /> do not necessarily want to play in a League. <br /> File 21 .5.1 <br /> -13- <br />
