_ .M..,.�_.��. _ <br /> �, � . <br /> . � • �,,� <br /> Recreation leaders and Administrators discuss and plan the month's ac�tivities. <br /> Rapport with students is developing very well . <br /> McKinley Junior High <br /> After six months on campus the fruits of our labor are beginning to blossom. <br /> Not only is staff working with the Administrators, Advisors and Student <br /> Council , but the PTA Volunteer Co9rdinator is� now recuiting volunteers to <br /> help with noon activities. Volunteer parents will help supervise the Ping-Pong <br /> Room, Weight Room & Gym, and assist with the Jewelry Class. Additionally, the <br /> Editor of the P.T.A. Newsette has agreed to publish noon activities in the <br /> newsletter. Attendance was over 2,000 this month. Participation is a very <br /> good cross-section of student population. All activities are approached with <br /> the idea of having fun and providing a positive, rewarding experience. Each <br /> participant �s encouraged to do the best they can. <br /> Kennedy Junior High <br /> Comnunications between Student Council and Administration is improving. Student <br /> Advisors, Student Council and Administrators review and approve monthly activi- <br /> ties. The month began with an Egg Toss, a Tug-of-War and Cageball . Low key <br /> activities like Checkers were also enjoyed. Late month activities included <br /> Arm Wrestling, which was extremely popular with the spectators, who lined up <br /> three deep around the tables. The highlight of the month was the Faculty vs. <br /> Students in Volleyball . Some teachers were cheerleaders and really showed the <br /> students a good time. The game went into overtime with the Students even- <br /> tually winning 15-14. <br /> On January 30 there will be a dance at Kennedy from 7:00-9:00 P.M. <br /> Over 1 ,100 students enjoyed the program throughout the month. <br /> 21 .5.2 <br />
