Mezes Park <br /> The City Council at their meeting of June 7 , 1976 , approved the plans <br /> and specifications for the phase two construction of Mezes Park and <br /> authorized calling for bids for the project . Bids will be opened <br /> July 6 , 1976 , and it is anticipated that a contract can be awarded <br /> shortly thereafter . It is anticipated that work will be underway on <br /> the phase two construction by the end of duly . <br /> Senior Center Architectural Studies <br /> The Senior Center Study Committee at their meeting in dune with the <br /> architectural consultant , Kinsford Jones , reviewed the architectural <br /> study sketches of the proposed structure and the areas that would be <br /> involved with the structure . Also at this meeting , the Committee <br /> appointed a sub- committee consisting of Mr . Morrissey , Mr . Miller , <br /> and Mr . Knecht whose purpose would be to explore the various methods <br /> of funding the project and to arrive at recommendations for the com- <br /> mittee for a funding program . The consultant is currently preparing <br /> the final report of the architectural study which should be ready for <br /> the Committee ' s review by the end of July . <br /> -8 - <br />
