Senior Center Architectural Studies <br /> A joint meeting of the City Council , Park and Recreation Commission , and <br /> the Senior Center Committee was held October 27 , 1976 . The architectural <br /> consultant , Kingsford Jones , presented the various proposals and options <br /> as prepared in the Senior Center Architectural Study . Considerable dis- <br /> cussion concerning the financing of the project took place and consid- <br /> erable input was received from the public attending the meeting . The <br /> various concepts and options which were presented by the architect were <br /> favorably received ; however , it was determined that the matter should be <br /> formally considered by the Parks and Recreation Commission to arrive at <br /> firm recommendations for Council consideration . It was determined that <br /> the matter will be scheduled on the agenda for the Parks and Recreation <br /> Commission meeting of November 10 , 1976 . <br /> Parking Lot - Red Morton Community Park <br /> The Public Works Department is continuing with their work on the con- <br /> struction drawings for this parking lot to be located adjacent to the <br /> Red Morton Center in the northeast portion of the park . Current work <br /> schedules indicate the plans will be completed by late winter so that <br /> bids can be called for in early spring for the completion of this pro - <br /> ject . <br /> - 11 - <br />
