With respect to the possible utilization of the Land and Water Conser- <br /> vation Fund monies , the Committee discussed the possibility of arriving <br /> at possible projects as a part of the forthcoming Capital Improvement <br /> Program . In that these are matching funds and therefore the City would <br /> be expected to finance 100% of the entire project until reimbursement <br /> could be made . It was felt that planning for these projects could be <br /> accomplished as a part of the Commission ' s Proposed Capital Improvement <br /> Program . Applications for matching funds from the Land and Water Con- <br /> servation Fund could then be made based upon the approved prioritites <br /> for these projects . The Committee recommended , therefore , that the Bud- <br /> get and Capital Improvements Program Committee consider this approach <br /> for fiscal year 1977-78 . <br /> -7 - <br />
