Weeks indicated that he would contact Chairperson Pound with respect to the availability of conference funds . MOTION : Commissioner Weintraub moved to accept the monthly reports , seconded by Commissioner Buckhout . The motion carried unanimously by voice vote . ROUND TABLE Commissioner Weintraub suggested that as an economy measure , the envelopes which the minutes are delivered in be returned to the Department and be re- used every month . Commissioner Weintraub inquired if it would be appropriate and beneficial during the coming year to have one or two joint meetings of the Civic Cultural and Parks and Recreation Commissions . Discussion ensued and a tentative date of March 3 , 1977 , was established for the first joint meeting . Mr . Weeks indicated that he would confirm this date with the Civic Cultural Commission . Commissioner Weintraub suggested that the joint meeting be held in lieu of the regular monthly business meetings of both Commissions . Commissioner Buckhout suggested that the City could save dollars and time if all correspondence which was directed to the Parks and Recrea- tion Commission could be placed in a central location and the individual Commissioners required to pick it up . Discussion ensued with respect to the ease of pickup for all Commissioners ; the volume of data presently being received by all Commissioners ; and the suitability of setting up a special system for the Parks and Recreation Commission . The Commis - sion decided to refer the subject to staff for further study . MOTION : There being no further business , Commissioner Weintraub moved , seconded by Commissioner Buckhout that the meeting be adjourned .
