CIVIC CULTURAL COMMISSION <br /> Minutes of Meeting <br /> September 1 , 1977 <br /> The meeting was called to order at 7 : 35 , p . m . , by Chairman Poncia , <br /> in the Conference Room of the Community Activities Building , 1400 <br /> Roosevelt Avenue , Redwood City© <br /> COMMISSIONERS PRESENT : Marcia Poncia , Chairman <br /> Kay Mears <br /> Alice Kennedy <br /> Nicole McKay <br /> Michael Graycar <br /> COMMISSIONERS ABSENT : Zelda Bergman <br /> John Krueger <br /> STAFF PRESENT : Max Weeks , Director of Parks & Recreation <br /> Sally Hartman , Recreation Supervisor <br /> MOTION : On motion by Kay Mears , seconded by Nicole McKay , Minutes <br /> of the meeting of July 7 , 1977 , were approved by voice <br /> vote . <br /> CORRESPONDENCE : <br /> A letter of resignation was Commissioner Zelda Bergman <br /> was read by Chairman Poncia and was accepted by the Com- <br /> mission with regret . The resignation will be forwarded <br /> to the City Council for action. <br /> Announcements and brochures from various other sources <br /> were reviewed . <br /> AGENDA ITEM 1 -- Election of Officers : <br /> The following officers were elected for the coming year and will <br /> take office at the October meeting : <br /> Chairman Nicole McKay <br /> Vice Chairman Alice Kennedy <br /> Secretary Kay Mears <br /> AGENDA ITEM 2 - Committee Structure : <br /> Chairman Poncia reviewed the committee assignments for the Com- <br /> mission and indicated that since Commissioner Bergman had resigned <br /> from the Commission , it would be necessary to fill her vacancy on <br /> the various committees . Commissioner Graycar agreed to take the <br /> committee assignments originally made to Commissioner Bergman . <br />
