7.1.A. - Page 5 <br /> representatives of the City and District. The availability of the SRO may be <br /> periodically impacted by collateral duties or exigent circumstances, though the <br /> City will make reasonable efforts to minimize absences and will provide a <br /> temporary SRO for any absences of more than two consecutive days. The <br /> SRO will assist the school in patrolling the school perimeter, in mentoring <br /> students with attendance issues, in limited investigations, by maintaining a visible <br /> presence on campus as staffing allows, and in providing other supports to the <br /> school as determined collaboratively between representatives of City and District. <br /> ii. if requested by the school, the City will provide a parent <br /> workshop to educate and support Sequoia High School students and parents <br /> about the dangers of gang interest and membership. <br /> iii. City will attend partnership meetings and participate in <br /> information sharing, problem-solving, evaluation and data collection process, as <br /> agreed to with the school. <br /> 3. Obligations of District. During the term of this Agreement, District hereby <br /> covenants and agrees to the following: <br /> A. District will identify and refer students and families to City for <br /> services. <br /> B. District will attend partnership meetings and participate in <br /> information sharing, problem solving, evaluation, and data collection process, as <br /> agreed to on a case by case basis. <br /> C. District, in conjunction with the City, will hold an annual <br /> "Lockdown/Barricade" or "Active Shooter" drill. <br /> D. District will provide adequate program and office space as <br /> requested by the City. <br /> E. District will act as fiscal agent for the partnership. <br /> F. District will oversee and maintain contract agreements. <br /> G. District will identify and communicate training opportunities to City. <br /> H. District will oversee and support evaluation and data collection, as <br /> agreed to on a case by case basis. <br /> 4. Supplemental Services. District may request City to provide additional <br /> law enforcement services for evening or weekend events such as PTA meetings, Back- <br /> to-School Nights, Open House, athletic or performance events, dances, proms, or other <br /> District-sponsored events.
