<br />. Interview displacees to ascertain relocation needs and special requirements. <br />. Inform displaced persons of available relocation assistance and explain <br /> relocation process. <br />. Provide displacees with on-going advisory assistance to minimize their hardship. <br />. Prepare and distribute General Information Notices, Notices to Vacate, and other <br /> notices, as may be required. <br />. Determine eligibility for and proposed amount of relocation benefits for each <br /> household being displaced. <br />. Obtain signatures on claim forms, and submit claim forms to the City of Redwood <br /> City for processing and payment. <br />. Monitor the move to replacement site, as necessary. If a temporary move, also <br /> monitor the move back to the displacement site. <br />. Deliver benefit checks and other appropriate payments to claimants or to <br /> vendors. <br />. Maintain necessary case documentation and provide City of Redwood City with <br /> periodic status reports. <br />Successful implementation of an acquisition and relocation assistance project requires <br />thorough and coordinated effort during planning and preparation stages, as well as <br />during the implementation phase to see a project to a timely and cost-efficient <br />completion. In addition to the acquisition and relocation implementation services <br />outlined above, OPC proposes to provide Project Management services at all stages <br />of this process. Such services would be provided upon request by the City and may <br />include: <br />. Advise and assist City of Redwood City in the development and implementation <br /> of any internal administrative policies, procedures and forms necessary for the <br /> support of an effective relocation program. <br />. General consultation and project coordination with the City of Redwood City, <br /> contractors, on-site services, social services agencies, governmental entities, <br /> and designated consultants and vendors, <br />.
