Structural - Design Development structural plans shall include foundation <br /> plan, floor and roof framing plan with primary member sizes and special <br /> foundations including pile locations, sizes and lengths. Size and location of <br /> all shear walls, braced frames. or moment frames with sizes of all <br /> members. shall be indicated. Include sufficient elevations and sections <br /> necessary to fully describe the height and general configuration of the <br /> basis structural system. <br /> e. Mechanical - General layout of systems, proposed, including total loads <br /> and single-line drawings and schematic diagrams showing general <br /> arrangement of mechanical piping systems and equipment shall be <br /> provided. The drawings shall include a large scaled plan and sections at a <br /> scale of not less than 3/8 inch per foot of the equipment room showing all <br /> the equipment, duct work, piping, duct and piping insulation. space for <br /> removal of tube bundles, doors of sufficient size to admit the largest piece <br /> of equipment and any other necessary items that would take up <br /> appreciable space. . <br /> f. Electrical - Single line diagrams shall be provided showing the protective <br /> device just ahead of the point of connection, all the way to the panels and <br /> any special equipment planned. Layout drawings shall be provided <br /> showing power, lighting, telephone, intercom, data and computer terminals, <br /> and other system arrangements. Proposed fire alarm boxes and circuits <br /> shall be shown. Exterior lighting shall also be shown along with any <br /> lighting for signage. <br /> g. Signage Plans (If option is selected by City) - Prepare signage plans <br /> and details to provide way-finding and direction to various areas of the <br /> library. The signage plans shall also include signage for the exterior of the <br /> building to direct both users of the library, vendors, or staff to the <br /> appropriate entry points. Any special graphics or artistic signage shall be <br /> subject to review and approval by the City's Architectural Review <br /> Committee. <br /> h. Audio Visual Plans (If option is selected by City) - Special audio visual <br /> equipment shall be shown on plans to show the location and size of <br /> screens. projectors, monitors, microphones and any other equipment that <br /> are planned. The audio visual plans shall be coordinated with all the other <br /> drawings to insure there are no conflicts with other systems. <br /> ., <br /> i. Outline Specifications. Prepare an Outline Specifications manual <br /> describing the contemplated materials and proposed overall level of quality <br /> required for all work performed.
