<br /> j. Cost Estimate - Prepare an updated detailed cost estimate of probable <br /> construction cost that is within the Estimated Construction Cost (ECC) of <br /> $10,500.000. If the probable construction cost exceeds the ECC, the <br /> Architect shall submit to the City additive bid items for consideration. <br /> 4. Schedule and Submittals - Submit one (1) sets of plans, draft specifications, <br /> and detailed cost estimate to the City within 90 calendar days, after approval <br /> of the Schematic Design. <br /> F. Final Construction Bid Documents <br /> 1. Prepare final plans, specifications and cost estimate suitable for public bidding. <br /> in accordance with the approved Design Development by the California State <br /> Library's and the City of Redwood City's review comments. Based on the <br /> approved Design Development Submittal, the Final Construction Bid <br /> Documents shall include, but not be limited to, a site plan, floor plan. exterior <br /> elevations. roof plan, building sections, details, interior elevations, reflected <br /> ceiling plan, window and door schedules, fumiture, furnishings and equipment <br /> plan. signage schedule and plan, assignable square footage comparison, civil, <br /> structural, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, lighting system plan with "cut" <br /> sheets for type of fixtures, electrical data and distribution plan, and landscaping <br /> plan. <br /> 2. The Final Construction Bid Documents shall be prepared in accordance to the <br /> requirements of the California State Library Bond Act Grant Recipient Submittal <br /> Checklist, Construction Documents Detail Checklist (Attachment 3) and City of <br /> Redwood City Standards. <br /> 3. The Final Construction Bid Documents shall be prepared suitable for public <br /> bidding with all elements thoroughly checked and coordinated by the <br /> consultant. The Design Professional agrees to maintain quality control <br /> procedures. The Design professional further agrees to follow those procedures <br /> to the extent that, in the Design Professional's judgment, the procedures are <br /> appropriate under the circumstances. The intent that the Design Professional <br /> provides a well-coordinated set of documents and specifications. All elements <br /> of the work shall be properly coordinated that there are minimal conflicts <br /> between the various architectural and engineering disciplines and minimal <br /> conflicts with the specifications. The Final Bid Documents shall include (as a <br /> minimum) the following: <br /> a.,Civii - Civil Plans shall include the following: <br /> ~ Existing Topography: Existing topography shall be shown with one- <br /> , foot contours, augmented with spot elevations. All existing utilities, <br /> including size and material, above and below ground, shall be shown. <br /> -5- <br />
