Diagrams shall permit the tracing of fluid <br /> flow paths. <br /> þ> Control Diaarams: Control diagrams shall be included to indicate <br /> function of various control systems involved in mechanical installations. <br /> Control of mechanical equipment shall be coordinated with the electrical <br /> engineer so that all equipment supplied by electrical work and <br /> mechanical work is clearly defined. <br /> þ> Sequence of Operation: Complete, step-by-step sequence of operation <br /> shall be included in the specifications (and whenever practical, on the <br /> drawings) for each control system. <br /> þ> Eauipment Schedule: Mechanical and plumbing plans shall include <br /> equipment schedules indicating capacity and description of each item of <br /> equipment and conditions under which each item is to operate. Provide <br /> voltage. phase, horsepower or amperage of all equipment requiring <br /> electrical power. <br /> þ> Seismic Anchoraae: Plans shall include sufficient details for the <br /> attachment and anchorage of all mechanical equipment, piping systems, <br /> hangers, supports, sway braces. etc. so as to be in compliance with <br /> codes and standards. <br /> f. Electrical: Electrical plans shall provide adequate information so that the <br /> electrical installation is complete and there is a clear indication as to where <br /> the work begins and ends. Tables shall identify circuits, protective devices, <br /> ratings, loads, phasing. controls. instrumentation and other pertinent <br /> information concerning the installation. As a minimum provide the following: <br /> ~ Plot Plan: Required for overhead and underground power, street <br /> lighting, telephone, fire alarm, data, and distribution systems. <br /> ~ Wirina Diaqram: <br /> . Service shall include power. telephone, fire alarm. data, source <br /> available and any other special connections to outside systems. <br /> . Show locations of entering conduits and service racks. Service <br /> disconnect shall be rated to suit the conditions of the case. Metering <br /> shall be required unless directed otherwise. <br /> " <br /> . Panel boards shall include breakers for feeders and branches of <br /> suitable rating. Conditions shall be analyzed to ensure that the <br /> wiring method used is acceptable and economical for the intended <br /> use of the facilities. <br /> -10- <br />
