It is very unlikely that an <br /> Environmental Impact Report would be required for the project. The additiOX'\al steps <br /> noted above are not included within tlús scope or budget, and would, if needed, <br /> require a contract amendment. <br /> Part B Design Services <br /> Using the infonnation in the Technical Memorandum of October 2000 Redwood Shores <br /> Lagoon Predesign Study a/Water Circulation Pump Stations, and the Technical <br /> Memorandum of January 2004 Hydraulic Analyses of Redwood Shores Lagoon. CDM will <br /> prepare the design of all civil, mechanical, structural and electrical work relating to <br /> the two water circulation pump stations. <br /> Task B-1 Prepare Design <br /> The desigt' to determine applicable civil, mechanical, struchual and electrical work <br /> relating to the pump stations will be completed under this task. The pu.mp stations <br /> will be located at the north side of Davit Lane (South Wand Waterway) and at the <br /> south side of Marlin Court (North Inland Waterway). Both pump stations wì11 be <br /> placed at the ou tlets to the exist:í1'\g 4 ft. high by 5 it. wide box culverts W1der Marlin <br /> Drive. <br /> The design will be for submersible propeller pumps, motors, electrical, arid structural <br /> modifications to the outlets to the existing culverts as shown on Figure 7. <br /> Task B-2 Prepare Drawings and Specifications <br /> One bid package wiU be prepared covering both pump stations. Construction <br /> drawings will be prepared in a manner to provide for competitive bidding among <br /> çot\tractors. The City' s standard bid documents and specification general conditions <br /> will be used. The City's standard details, as appropriate, will be used. CDM will <br /> prepare special provisions and technical sperukatioIlS Ù1 CSI format covering items of <br /> work and materials involved i:n the construction program, including test:ing of the <br /> completed pump station. <br /> COM will prepare and make submittals to the City at the 80 percent and 100 percent <br /> completion stages. <br /> The drawings (anticipated to toté!110 sheets) for the 80 percent submittal will be in <br /> COM standard half size 11 x 17 inches sheets. Some drawings will be incomplete at <br /> the 80 percent stage.
