7.1.B. - Page 18 <br /> recommended if the streetscape geometry and light pole spacing is not compatible with the existing <br /> curb alignment for pedestrian access. <br /> TASK S-65%FORM B <br /> Consultant will prepare the Form B for the MUUD project. The Form B will be per PG&E Standard Joint <br /> Trench Cost Allocation Percentages UO Standard 55453 or as requested by PG&E. The Form B will <br /> delineate each unique segment of trench and identify: <br /> Joint Trench Segment Name <br /> Joint Trench Widths <br /> Length (in feet) <br /> PG&E Primary Conduits(Number&Size of Conduits) <br /> PG&E Secondary Conduits (Number&Size of Conduits) <br /> Cable TV Conduits(Number&Size of Conduits) <br /> AT&T Conduits(Number&Size of Conduits) <br /> City Street Light Joint Trench(Number&Size of Conduits) <br /> A Distribution Trench Cost Allocation Percentages will be prepared based on the number of joint trench <br /> occupants. Also included in the Form B will be Number of: PG&E #7 vaults, PG&E #5 vaults, PG&E #3 <br /> boxes, PG&E#2 boxes,PG&E#1 boxes,AT&T vaults,Astound splice boxes,and City street light boxes. <br /> TASK 9—65%TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS <br /> Technical Specifications will be included in the 65% submittal, using the City standard technical <br /> specifications format for the surface restoration items of work, mobilization,traffic control,wet utilities <br /> and other non joint trench work items. City standard technical specifications will be supplemented by <br /> the 2014 PG&E Greenbook for joint trench related items. The 65% submittal for the specifications will <br /> incorporate the relevant spec sections into the submittal package, but the spec sections will not be <br /> refined or made project specific until the 95% submittal, Also, measurement and payment will be <br /> included in the 95%submittal. <br /> TASK 10—65%CONSTRUCTION COST ESTIMATE <br /> The Form B will be the base template for the 65% construction cost estimate. Consultant will input <br /> quantities for each trench segment and include unit cost for each item. Unit costs will be unit prices <br /> from recent,similar projects. The 65%estimate will show 15% design contingency and 10%construction <br /> contingency,unless otherwise directed by City. <br /> The 65% submittal will be 7 half-size sets of plans, 3 full-size sets of plans, 10 specifications, 10 cost <br /> estimates,and 10 Form Bs. Submittal will also include PDF copies of all documents. <br /> TASK 11—SUBMITTAL REVIEW MEETINGS <br /> Consultant will budget one review meeting for each submittal of plans, specifications, cost estimate and <br /> Form B. The plan review meeting is proposed to be within one week of the plan submittal to assist in <br /> moving the project design forward. The schedule will allow for the City and utility companies to have 3 <br /> weeks for plan review; however the design team will be able to proceed with project design based on <br /> feedback at the submittal review meeting (within one week of the submittal). The timing of the <br /> submittal review meeting can be adjusted to accommodate City staff schedule.
