7.1 .B. - Page 19 <br /> TASK 12—CALTRANS COORDINATION <br /> This task is for Caltrans coordination,to be performed on an hourly basis for the level of effort depicted <br /> in the budget spreadsheet. Examples of services under this task include meetings with Caltrans staff <br /> and/or other correspondence with Caltrans. <br /> TASK 13—95%PLANS,SPECIFICATIONS, ESTIMATE AND FORM B <br /> Consultant will update the plans, specifications,estimate and Form B following the receipt of comments <br /> from the City and utility companies. The 95% plans will include the joint trench details and utility profile <br /> labels. Also the 95% specifications will include deletions and edits to standard technical specifications <br /> sections, and will add in the measurement and payment clauses. The Form B will be revised to match <br /> the 95% plans, along with the quantities and items updated on the 95% cost estimate. The budget for <br /> this project assumes there are no significant changes by the utility companies or City after the 65% <br /> design. <br /> The 95% submittal will be 7 half-size sets of plans, 3 full-size sets of plans, 10 specifications, 10 cost <br /> estimates,and 10 Form Bs. Submittal will also include PDF copies of all documents. <br /> TASK 14—QUALITY CONTROL PLAN REVIEW <br /> Consultant will retain outside licensed engineer (defined as a qualified engineer who is not part of the <br /> design team)to review the plans, specifications and estimate. Outside plan checker will meet with the <br /> design team to review comments. Comments from the outside reviewer will be incorporated into the <br /> plan set. <br /> TASK 15—100%PLANS,SPECIFICATIONS,ESTIMATE AND FORM B <br /> Consultant will update the plans, specifications, estimate and Form B to include comments from the <br /> City, utility companies, and revisions from the outside plan review. The 100%submittal will be 7 half- <br /> size sets of plans, 3 full-size sets of plans, 10 specifications, 10 cost estimates, and 10 Form Bs. <br /> Submittal will also include PDF copies and source files of all documents. <br /> TASK 16—BID PLANS,SPECIFICATIONS, ESTIMATE AND FORM B <br /> Consultant will update the plans,specifications,estimate and Form B to include comments from the City <br /> and utility companies. The bid submittal will be one set of electronic files and one signed hard copy plan <br /> set. <br /> TASK 17—LEAD REGULAR MEETINGS WITH UTILITY COMPANIES <br /> Consultant will attend meetings throughout the design phase with utility company representatives, <br /> similar to the MUUD meetings held between October 2013 and July 2014. Consultant will prepare the <br /> meeting agenda and will lead the discussion. City will send out meeting announcements and prepare <br /> the meeting minutes. Consultant will use the meetings to present composite design plans and to <br /> coordinate questions with the utility companies. This task has 8 meetings budgeted. <br /> TASK 18—LEGAL DESCRIPTIONS <br /> MUUD project may require legal descriptions for joint trench improvements on private property. The <br /> legal description will be a plat map and metes and bounds description (or a strip description as <br /> appropriate). Both the plat map and legal description will be stamped by a California-licensed Land <br /> Surveyor. The legal descriptions will follow PG&E requirements per the current "PRIVATE SECTOR LAND <br /> SURVEYORS CHECK LIST." City will provide title reports for subject properties.
