") , <br /> with the addition that no hunting at all be permitted <br /> on the Redwood Peninsula including Bird Island and that <br /> { the areas be so posted. <br /> Lengthy discussion followed and Mr. Fritz replied to <br /> questions concerning the practicality of posting the <br /> Redwood Peninsula with regard to varying tidewater <br /> levels, the effective range of shotguns and the hunting <br /> techniques of waterfowlers. <br /> Mr. Fritz requested that the members present of his <br /> Association be permitted to discuss the addition in the <br /> motion to the recommendations of the City Manager in <br /> order to consider their position. There being no ob- <br /> jection, Mayor Weymouth advised the Council would pro- <br /> f ceed to the next item on the agenda while the group met <br /> in the lobby. <br /> Rob Gillanders, 797 Castle Hill Road, suggested that <br /> waterfowl hunting could be limited to 300 to 500 yards <br /> on the rim of the Redwood Peninsula. <br /> (See below for further consideration of the item <br /> relating to the Waterfowlers Association) <br /> Deferred Compensation Plan <br /> City Manager Fales referred to his report of April 25, <br /> 1975 regarding a proposed deferred compensation plan for <br /> management and confidential personnel. In the event <br /> Council members have questions which were not answered <br /> in the report, Mr. Fales called attention to the presence <br /> in the audience of a representative of Financial Indus- <br /> tries Corporation, who would administer the Plan, and <br /> Deputy City Attorney Riback who has handled the matter <br /> for the City. <br /> MOTION : Titles having been read, Councilman Norris in- <br /> troduced the following resolutions and moved, seconded <br /> by Councilman Barrett, their adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 7398 APPROVING AND ESTABLISHING DE- <br /> FERRED COMPENSATION PLAN FOR CERTAIN DESIGNATED <br /> EMPLOYEES AND APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION <br /> OF AGREEMENT FOR ADMINISTRATION THEREOF ' <br /> r.r► <br /> -7- <br /> Reg.Mtg. <br /> fi 4/28/75 <br /> I. <br />
