355 <br /> Presentation of proposed Annual Budget 1975-1976 <br /> City Manager Pales referred to his budget message con- <br /> tained on pages i through xv of the proposed Annual <br /> Firma Budget 1975-1976 and read the portions relating to <br /> Basic Budget Objectives, general statements regarding <br /> tibwo the major areas of concern to local governments, Policy <br /> Options and Summary. <br /> Council members commended Mr. Fales for his message, and <br /> Mayor Weymouth asked that copies of the message be made <br /> available as a brief lesson in local government to any- <br /> one requesting a copy. <br /> Mr. Fales advised that copies of the proposed Annual <br /> Budget are available for citizen review and study in <br /> the Office of the City Clerk, at the libraries and at <br /> various other offices at City Hall. He added that extra <br /> copies of the document will be available on a first come, <br /> first served basis. <br /> MOTION: Title having been read, Councilman Norris in- <br /> troduced the following resolution and moved, seconded <br /> by Councilman Rhodes, its adoption with the date of the <br /> public hearing of the Budget to be set for Monday, <br /> June 16, 1975 at 7 :30 p.m. in the Board of Supervisors <br /> Chambers : <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 7404 SETTING TIME AND PLACE OF PUBLIC <br /> HEARING ON ANNUAL BUDGET FOR THE FISCAL YEAR JULY 1, <br /> t,, 1975 TO JUNE 30, 1975; ORDERING PUBLIC NOTICE BE <br /> GIVEN OF SAID HEARING AND OF THE FACT THAT COPIES <br /> OF SAID PROPOSED BUDGET ARE AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC <br /> INSPECTION IN THE OFFICE OF THE CITY CLERK <br /> The motion carried unanimously by roll call vote. <br /> Mayor Weymouth announced that budget study sessions are <br /> scheduled for Saturday, May 10 and Saturday, May 17, <br /> 1975 commencing at 9:00 a .m. at the Community Activities <br /> Building and encouraged the public to attend . <br /> Boundary adjustment on Parcel Map No. 69-5 <br /> (Donald L. Bren Development) <br /> City Manager Fales referred to his report of May 2, 1975 <br /> on the subject boundary adjustment. <br /> In response to question, Mr. Fales and City Attorney <br /> Schricker advised that if the proposed boundary adjust- <br /> ment is approved, the map will conform to the actual <br /> configuration of the dikes. <br /> MOTION : Title having been read, Councilman Barrett in- <br /> troduced the following resolution and moved, seconded <br /> by Councilman Leipzig, its adoption: <br /> -3- <br /> Reg.Mtg. <br /> 5/5/75 <br />
