(MINUTE ORDER NO. 75-20) <br /> Glenn Arimoto, 1914 Oak Avenue, a City employee in the <br /> Parks Division, asked on behalf of City union employees <br /> that emergency ordinance procedures be followed in order <br /> that the newly negotiated salary increase may be received <br /> as soon as possible and also that payment be made by <br /> separate check in order that income tax deductions will <br /> not be affected. <br /> In response to question, City Attorney Schricker advised <br /> that no situation exists which would qualify the subject <br /> ordinance as a legal emergency.
