18 $ <br /> MOTION Councilman Henderson moved, seconded by Councilman Barrett, <br /> to approve the recommendation of the Housing Concerns Committee that <br /> having submitted its final report, the Housing Advisory Subcommittee <br /> be disbanded and that members be thanked for all of their efforts <br /> in completing their assigned task. <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote <br /> (MINUTE ORDER NO 75-228) <br /> Report of the Planning Commission and the <br /> Park and Recreation Commission re Sequoia Union <br /> High School District surplus school site (Farm'Hill area) <br /> City Manager Fales referred to the subject report and suggested no <br /> snecific action is presently required except transmission of the <br /> reports to the Board of Trustees of the Sequoia Union High School <br /> District as requested in their letter to the City Council of <br /> September 25 which invited consideration and recommendation of the <br /> Land Use Study for the site <br /> MOTION Councilman Henderson moved, seconded by Councilman Williams, <br /> to approve the recommendation of the City Manager that the reports <br /> of the'Planning Commission and of the Park and Recreation Commission <br /> on the Land Use Study-Farm Hill Boulevard School Site prepared for <br /> the Sequoia Union High School District be transmitted to the Board <br /> of Trustees <br /> CLARIFICATION Councilman Henderson stated that it is the intent <br /> of her motion that in forwarding the reports to the School Board, that <br /> all options are still available to the City Council and that the Board <br /> should be so informed. <br /> The Planning and Park and Recreation Commissions were commended for <br /> their work in reviewing the proposals for the school site and pre- <br /> paring their recommendations <br /> The motion carried unanimously by voice vote <br /> (MINUTE ORDER NO 75-229) <br /> Report of Planning Commission transmitting proposed <br /> Comprehensive General Plan <br /> City Manager Fales advised that the Comprehensive General Plan is <br /> being transmitted by the Planning Commission to Council for their <br /> review, that the first public hearing on the Plan is scheduled for <br /> Tuesday, November 11 , 1975 at 7 30 p m. in the Veterans Memorial <br /> Building, and that no action is required at this time. <br /> It was the consensus of Council that when the public hearing set <br /> for November 11 is continued, as planned, the date to which it is <br /> continued will be advertised as was the first hearing <br /> (memo 11/11/75) <br /> Development of County-owned airports <br /> City Manager Fales called attention to the report of November 7, <br /> 1975 from Councilman Norris, representative to the Airport Land Use <br /> Committee, containing the City' s position <br /> -2- <br /> Reg Mtg <br /> 11/10/75 <br />
