300 <br /> MOTION: Title having been read, Councilman Henderson <br /> introduced the following resolution and moved, seconded <br /> by Councilman Williams, its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 7362 APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING <br /> AGREEMENT FOR THE PURCHASE OF THREE USED AUTOMOBILES ow" <br /> The resolution was adopted on the following roll call <br /> vote : <br /> Ayes : Councilmen Henderson, Leipzig, Norris, <br /> Williams and Mayor Weymouth <br /> Noes : Councilmen Barrett, Rhodes <br /> Rejection of bid - <br /> Poole Warehouse Building partitions <br /> City Manager Fales referred to his report of February 20, <br /> 1975 regarding the rejection of bid for the installation <br /> of partitions in the Poole Warehouse Building and <br /> attaching report of the Director of Buildings and Trans- <br /> portation, dated February 13. <br /> MOTION: Title having been read, Councilman Williams <br /> introduced the following resolution and moved, seconded <br /> by Councilman Barrett, its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 7363 REJECTING BID RECEIVED FOR THE mom <br /> FURNISHING AND INSTALLATION OF PARTITIONS FOR A <br /> WAREHOUSE BUILDING (449 PENNSYLVANIA AVENUE) ; <br /> DIRECTING RETURN OF SECURITY DEPOSIT <br /> ADDITION TO MOTION: Councilman Williams, with the con- <br /> k sent of his second, also moved that bidding requirements <br /> be suspended in accordance with Article VII, Section 2.76 <br /> of the Municipal Code; and that the Department of Build- <br /> ings and Transportation be authorized to execute the <br /> installation of the partitions pursuant to Section 67 <br /> of the Charter of the City of Redwood City. <br /> The motion with the addition carried unanimously by roll <br /> call vote. (MINUTE ORDER NO. 75-43) <br /> Rejection of bid - <br /> Fire Department Intercom System <br /> City Manager Fales referred to his report of February 20 <br /> regarding the Fire Department Intercom System and attach- <br /> ing a memorandum from the Fire Chief recommending re- <br /> jection of the only bid and that the Department be <br /> authorized to make the installations. <br /> MOTION: Title having been read, Councilman Barrett in- <br /> troduced the following resolution and moved, seconded <br /> by Councilman Leipzig, its adoption: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 7364 REJECTING BID RECEIVED FOR THE <br /> INTERCOM COMMUNICATION SYSTEM; DIRECTING RETURN <br /> OF SECURITY DEPOSIT; and <br /> -3- <br /> Reg.Mtg. <br /> 2/24/75 <br /> 1 <br />
