Presentation of Resolution of Retirement Title read. Leipzig/Stangel <br /> to Vincent Truscelli retiring from the RESOLUTION NO. 8498 adopted unanimously <br /> Police Department after more than 20 years by roll call vote. <br /> RESOLUTION COMMENDING AND CONGRATULATING Mayor Rhodes presented a framed parchment copy <br /> VINCENT A. TRUSCELLI UPON THE OCCASION of the resolution to Mr. Truscelli and com- <br /> f�"' OF HIS RETIREMENT mended him for his excellent work in the com- <br /> munity as well as his many years of service <br /> to the City. <br /> 2. Appeal from denial of Zoning Administrator Report of Zoning Administrator 1/7/80 <br /> for Use Permit for a restaurant-bar with <br /> inadequate off-street parking and in- Mayor Rhodes observed that the public hearing <br /> adequate exits and inappropriate location, continues open from the meeting of January 21, <br /> 2726 Broadway - Edgar J. Brinkat, 831 1980. <br /> Hillcrest Boulevard, Millbrae, appellant <br /> (continued open from 1/21/80) Edgar Brinkat, appellant, stated he is willing <br /> to reduce seating capacity from 60 to 30 seats, <br /> if that would respond to the objections of the <br /> Zoning Administrator in denying the application <br /> for Use Permit. In response to questions from <br /> City Attorney Schricker, Mr. Brinkat said it <br /> is intended that beer and wine will be served. <br /> Mr. Brinkat filed for the record a petition of <br /> five pages containing some 28 signatures of <br /> owners or operators of businesses in the area <br /> who are in favor of the City's allowing the <br /> Reg.Mtg. <br /> 2/4/80 <br /> Page 1 <br /> r <br />
