. .... _..... ..._. 1.l1� ._.. <br /> � �-� � <br /> (c) Grantor and Grantee agree that the parties may establish reasonable <br /> provisions regarding responsibility for signal security and p�ivacy issues resulting <br /> from use of Cable System services at the public buildings and locations <br /> designated in this Agreement. It is the intent of this Agreement that, unless <br /> otherwise agreed to by the parties, that the user (i.e., not Grantee) shall be <br /> responsible for signal security (e.g., encryption). <br /> 2. PUBLIC, EDUCATIONAL AND GOVERNMENTAL (PEG) ACCESS <br /> CHANNELS <br /> (a) As each Cable System node is activated, Grantee shall make two (2) <br /> downstream analog Channel(s) available to Grantor exclusively for Public, <br /> Educational and Governmental (PEG) Access use. These Channels shall be <br /> dedicated for the term of the Franchise. These Channels shall be located on the <br /> same Channel numbers and position on the Cable System as are similar <br /> channels on other RCN cable systems in San Mateo County for the life of this <br /> Agreement. <br /> (b) If, at any time, the incumbent Cable System operator makes available <br /> to Grantor more than two (2) PEG Access Channels, then Grantor shall have the <br /> right to require that Grantee provide up to two (2) additional PEG Access <br /> Channels, to match the number of PEG Access Channels provided by the <br /> incumbent Cable System operator, up to a maximum obligation of four (4) PEG <br /> Access Channels. Grantee shall make the additional Channel(s) available no <br /> later than one hundred eighty (180) days after receipt of a written request from <br /> Grantor. <br />
