C. Testing of Safety Devices l. The Contractor shall examine periodically both car and counterweight safety devices and governors and conduct an annual no load test. This test shall be done within one month of award of contract. 2. The hydraulic elevators shall have the pressure relief valve tested annually. This test shall be done within one month of award of contract. 3. All elevators provided with firefighters' service shall be subjected monthly to Phase I recall and a minimum of one-floor operation on Phase II to assure the system is maintained in proper operating order. A written record of dates tests were performed and fmdings on the operation shall be made and kept in the machine room of premises. 4. Any battery lowering device shall be tested annually and operate as intended. This test shall be done within one month of award of contract. 5. The operation of the elevator under fire and other emergency conditions shall be tested to determine conformance with the applicable requirements of Rules 211.3 through 211.8, 3128 [Rule 1002.2fJ. D. Stock of Materials Contractor shall provide only genuine parts supplied by the original manufachuer of the equipment for replacement or repair, and shall furnish and use only those lubricants obtained from and/or recommended by the manufacturer of the equipment. The Contractor shall maintain a parts inventory and parts accessibility network stocked with exclusive quality replacement parts. The Contractor shall stock commonly used parts at the customer's job site, as well as in the service technician's mobile vehicle. E. Elevator Performance Requirements 1. Contractor shall maintain system performance, as per manufactures specification. Should Owner or Owner's representative inspect the system and find it not in conformance with the manufacturer's system performance specifications, Contractor shall make necessary adjustments to bring the equipment into conformance within thirty(30) days of receipt of written notification of deficiencies. 2. At the start of the contract the Contractor shall provide to the Facilities Manager the following performance specifications for both the traction and hydraulic elevators.
