_, � <br /> The CONTRACTOR shall provide digital database TV nspection reports, printed N <br /> nspection reports and MPEG-4 format color video of all work completed. The Contractor <br /> shall use the custom digital database N nspection software WinCan Database System, <br /> version 8.30.0.2090 The Contractor shall be proficient n using WinCan software. <br /> Additionally, the inage capture system will indude provisions for capturing both mofion <br /> video and audio. h other words, the complete hterface system will allow the operator to <br /> record and store short video movies of the sewer defects and indude verbal audio when <br /> necessary. The operator(s) shall be PQelne Assessment Certification Program (PACP) <br /> certified. NASSCO PACP format shall be used to assess the pipeline conditions. The <br /> inspections shall document the following conditions and any other pertinent observations: <br /> a. Cracks-radial and longitudinal,hairline or open; <br /> b. Laterals(identffy active or nactive,if possible)-quadrant <br /> location, protruding, cracks,roots; <br /> �. Corrosion-iron stains,roughened aggregate,exposed <br /> aggregate,exposed rebar,or exposed soil; <br /> d, Offsetslsags - 1-nch,2-inch,4-inch, etc.; <br /> e. Roots- light, moderate, heavy, or matted <br /> roots;f. Grease - light, moderate, or heavy; <br /> g, hfltration-water stains,dripping water, or st�eam of water, <br /> h. Other-holes in pipe, missing tile; <br /> PACP pipe ratings shall be ncluded for each pipe segment nspected. All videos shall be <br /> of good quality MPEG-4 format and shall clearly show the above stated conditions.The <br /> date, identification of sewer section by upstream and downstream manhole bcations, <br /> and footage shall be displayed on the video data view at all times. <br /> MPEG-4 videos, pictures and databases must be submitted on external 1 TB (Terabyte) <br /> portable external hard drive. If a video and/or the capture inages n the database do not <br /> clea�ly show the pipe conditions due to an inadequate amount of light or are of such poor <br /> quality that the Engineer is unable to evaluate the condition of the sewer or locate sewer <br /> service connections, the CONTRACTOR shall re-televise that section of the pipe at <br /> CONTRACTOR'S e�cpense. <br /> Traffic Control <br /> The CONTRACTOR shall be solely responsible for traffic control. As a minimum,placement <br /> of adequate pre-warning and detour signs to control vehicular and pedestrian traffic shall <br /> be required. Certain arterial or commercial district streets may require night work. <br /> CONTRACTOR shall adhere to the WATCH Manual for traffic control. All CONTRACTOR'S <br /> trucks shall have an arrow board and beacons as well as a full set of cones, candle sticks, <br /> and "Men at Work" signs and tripods that shall be used to provide safety for both <br /> employees and the general public. <br /> Confined Spaces <br /> �giy to confined spaces is necessary, the CONTRACTOR shall follow all appropriate bcal, <br /> state, and federal laws pertaining to confined space entries. Sanitary sewer manholes are <br /> considered confined spaces. Specific attention is directed also to OSHA safety rules, <br /> regulations and precautions to be taken by the Contractor before entering sanitary sewer <br /> manholes, and other sanitation structures with respect to physical and chemical hazards that <br /> may be present. <br /> REV:05-22-15 <br /> Page 10 of 12 <br /> ATTYJAGR.2015.102/Professional Pipe Services <br />
