Pipe diameter <br /> G. Pipe material <br /> H. Footage <br /> CONTRACTOR shall take at least one picture of all mid-to-major defects in pipe that will <br /> be n JPEG format. Each JPEG file will be named in accordance with the line and footage. <br /> One photograph shall also be taken of each lateral connection looking up i'�to the lateral. <br /> CONTRACTOR shall setup at the upstream manhole whenever possible to video <br /> nspect with the flow. The camera will move at a un�orm rate at a speed no greater than <br /> 30 feet per minute. Distance of the ine will be measured and recorded from the center <br /> of manhole to the center of the next manhole. The distance will be accurate within 2 <br /> feet of every 1000 inear feet nspected. If more than one manhole reach is inspected <br /> in a single run, the footage counter shali be reset to zero at the center of all <br /> ntermediate manholes. The camera shall pause for a sufficient amount of time to <br /> adequately document and provide accurate distance measurements of all defects in pipe <br /> and the connections observed in the line. The camera shall rotate and look directly at <br /> each defect and look into each connection to thoroughly document the conditions and <br /> determine if the lateral is in service. CONTRACTOR shall capture photos of any moderate <br /> and above damages or abnormal conditions. <br /> The recording shall include an audio portan describing the condition of the ines with <br /> the video i�nage.The audio portion will be sufficiently free of background noise to produce <br /> an oral report that clear and easily discemible. At the beginning of each inspection run, <br /> the audio shall identify CONTRACTOR'S name, the crew member, date, time, street <br /> location, name of line, pipe size, pipe material, direction of inspection, and the pipe <br /> numbers at the beginning and end of the reach. The audio shall note during the inspection <br /> the location and condition of the pipe defects, ncluding all cradcs, breaks, cracked or <br /> misaligned joints, root ntrusion, nfiltration, missing pieces of pipe, corrosion, deposits, <br /> obstructions, and any other items which reflect the condition of the sewer line. The audio <br /> shall also note the location of the connections, and whether the connection is in service. <br /> All observations shall be included on the inspection report. <br /> Continuous digital recordings of the nspection view as it appears on the monitor shall be <br /> stored. A digital recording will be made of the entire inspection. The video will be <br /> recorded in MPEG 4 unless prior arrangements are made between the City and <br /> CONTRACTOR. <br /> In case the camera cannot pass from upstream to downstream, a reverse setup will be <br /> attempted. In case of this type of setup, a separate MPEG file will be stored. Inspection <br /> data shall be obtained using WinCan software. This shall nclude data tables, observations, <br /> pictures, and video. CONTRACTOR shall use standard observation codes consistent with <br /> PACP coding. Once all inspections are complete, CONTRACTOR shall give the City of <br /> Redwood Cily a hard drive that details all of the captured 'nfoRnation, and WinCan reader <br /> program that has full rights for viewing all videos, pictures, and observations. <br /> REV:05-22-15 <br /> Page 9 of 12 <br /> ATTY/AGR.2015.1021Professional Pipe Services <br />
