<br /> Contractor will use lubricants compounded to specifications selected for the <br /> required application. All elevator equipment and related work areas will be kept <br /> clean and orderly. Periodic cleaning of the elevator hoistway and pit is included. <br /> Contractor agrees to make necessary equipment adjustments and tests where <br /> possible, in keeping with safe practices and subject to the limitations of the <br /> equipment, to maintain the original speed and performance time including <br /> acceleration and deceleration, door opening and closing time. Contractor agrees <br /> to make periodic checks of the group dispatching and supervisory controls, and <br /> to make all adjustments necessary to maintain optimum efficiency of the group <br /> operating system. Periodically Contractor will examine safety devices, making <br /> such tests as required by local laws existing at the time of the execution of this <br /> Agreement. <br /> City of Redwood City agrees to furnish a complete set of "as built" wiring <br /> diagrams, if such diagrams are available. Such diagrams shall be kept in the <br /> machine room, and be available to Contractor's examiners at all times. The <br /> diagrams shall remain the property of City of Redwood City, and will be left on <br /> the premises upon termination of the Agreement. <br /> COVERED EQUIPMENT <br /> The following items of elevator equipment are covered under this Agreement: <br /> Traction Machine: including worm and gear, thrust bearings and housings, drive <br /> sheave and bearings, brake coil, brake linings, and brake link pins. <br /> Hydraulics Components: including pump motor, pump, valves, valve magnetic <br /> coils, v-belts, muffler, plunger packing, and gaskets. <br /> Motor and Motor Generator: including windings, bearings, rotating element, <br /> commutators, brushes, and brush holders. <br /> Idler Sheaves: including car and counterweight, deflector, compensating, and <br /> related bearings. <br /> Controller and Dispatching Equipment: including relays, resistors, contacts, coils <br /> leads, transformers, fuses, timing devices and solid state components. <br /> Selector: including electrical or mechanical drive components, cams, gears, <br /> contacts, relays, resistors, leads, transformers, and solid state components. <br /> Governor: including sheave, bearings, jaws, switch contacts, and tension <br /> assembly. <br /> TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 02200-4 <br />
