<br /> Cables: including hoist, governor, and compensating cables.
<br /> Car Equipment: including power door operator, door protective devices, door
<br /> hangers and gibs, gate contacts, load weighing equipment, car safety devices,
<br /> emergency car light and car guide shoes.
<br /> Hoistway Equipment: including buffers, guide rails, limit switches, traveling
<br /> cables, hoistway and machine room wiring, door interlocks, door hangers, gibs
<br /> and auxiliary closers.
<br /> Car and Hall Button Fixtures: including indicator control panels, all signal fixtures
<br /> including contacts, buttons, key switches and locks, lamps and sockets.
<br /> Firefighter Service: All elevators provided with firefighters' service shall be
<br /> subjected monthly to Phase I recall and minimum of one-floor operation on
<br /> Phase II to assure the system is maintained in proper operating order. A written
<br /> record shall be made and kept in the machine room of the findings on the
<br /> operation.
<br /> EQUIPMENT EXCLUSIONS:
<br /> Contractor assumes no responsibility for the following items, which are not
<br /> covered by this Agreement, unless damage results from the negligent acts or
<br /> actions of the Contractor:
<br /> Hoistway Enclosures: including hoistway doors, door frames and sills, swing
<br /> door closers, pit ladders, pit screens, pit and secondary level access doors, and
<br /> beams.
<br /> Car Enclosure: including removable panels, door panels, car gates, suspended
<br /> ceilings, light diffusers, car lighting tubes or bulbs, and battery, handrails, mirrors,
<br /> carpets, tile, subflooring, communication systems, and music systems.
<br /> Fixtures: including faceplates, covers, or finished surfaces.
<br /> Electrical Power Supply: including power switches, breakers or fuses, and
<br /> electrical power feeders to controllers.
<br /> Buried or Underground Equipment: including hydraulic elevator jack unit cylinder
<br /> and plunger, jack casing, piping, and conduit.
<br /> Machine Room Illumination: including light bulbs and tubes.
<br /> Emergency Power Plant and Associated Contractors.
