Mario Martins and Anna Souvannarath <br /> from Billing and Cash Collections and Laure Stehelin from MIS described the <br /> development process and benefits of the APS. <br /> Billing and Collections Manager Holmquist said the team would decide how <br /> they wanted to spend the time saved. She also advised that the utility bill was <br /> being redesigned with the focus on customer needs. <br /> d) Neighborhood Strike Team - Teams <br /> Public Services Director Ingram named all the members of the team and <br /> introduced the speakers Mike Vroman from Traffic Engineering, Police <br /> Officer Don Banks and Fire Prevention Officer Bob Hall, who described their <br /> efforts to resolve problems in the City utilizing each other's expertise and <br /> resources. "The Neighborhood Strike Team is dedicated to providing Redwood <br /> City with the highest quality and level of services to reduce blight, eliminate <br /> hazards and nuisances and protect the health and safety of our citizens and their <br /> property. We are committed to developing a partnership with the community to <br /> effectively and efficiently resolve problems and improve the quality of life in <br /> Redwood City." <br /> 4. What's next - Human Resources Director Maria Rivera-Pena <br /> Director Rivera-Pena advised that staff would continue to focus on customer service, <br /> efficiencies and teamwork; evaluate the structure and systems regarding job <br /> classifications, hiring and salary practices; and measure performance, including <br /> benchmarking. <br /> 5. Questions - Discussion <br /> Mayor Hartnett, on behalf of the Council, thanked the many employees who <br /> presented reports and all those who were a part of the continuous improvement efforts <br /> throughout the City.
