New City Hall Project contract and bid documents. (100) <br /> REPORT: Project Engineer, April 8, 1996 <br /> Project Engineer Sharon Jones presented the staff report and said the contractor, <br /> Rudolph and Sletten is very confident that the project is going to come in at or under our <br /> budget. The City has about 150 pre-qualified subcontractors who are ready and excited <br /> about bidding this project. <br /> City Manager Everett said what has been helpful in the process has been the unions, staff <br /> and Rudolph and Sletten have been calling the community and letting them know that this <br /> is an important project and made sure that people got their prequalifying documents in. <br /> MIS: BUCHANIRUSKIN. TITLE READ. <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING CONTRACT DOCUMENTS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF <br /> THE CITY HALL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY LOCATED AT 1017 MlDDLEFIELD <br /> ROAD <br /> Mayor Hartnett said that he had previously voted against the revised budget as he <br /> thought the City was spending too much money on the City Hall project. "On the other <br /> hand, I know that more than a majority of the Council has voted to keep the design <br /> integrity that came out of the design competition. And I don't find that (an) unreasonable <br /> view held by the majority.
