The Building Code is hereby amended by adding <br /> thereto following Section 306 a new section to be numbered 307, <br /> said section to read as follows: <br /> "Section 307. (a) No building permit or certificate <br /> of occupancy shall be issued by the Building Official if the <br /> structure to be constructed or altered� or the parcel of <br /> property in connection with which the permit or certificate <br /> is applied for„ fails to comply in any respect with the pro- <br /> visions of the following ordinances as they now exist or as <br /> they may from time to time be amended: <br /> 1. Ordinance No. 631, Subdivision Ordinance <br /> 6. Ordinance No. 639. Sidev�rdlk and Driveway Ordinance <br /> 7. Ordinance No. 623, Fire Zones <br /> 8. Ordinance No. 749, Structures in Creek Channels <br /> "In order to ascertain compliance with the above ordi- <br /> nances, the Building Official may refer any building permit <br /> application to any other City department for review. <br /> " (b) The provisions of this section shall not be con- <br /> strued to preclude the issuance of a building permit when <br /> there are previously or concurrently issued permits for im- <br /> provements which would eliminate any noncompliance with the <br /> above mentioned ordinances.
