amendments and additions are hereby declared to be non-substantive <br /> changes made necessary by the adoption of Ordinances Nos. 10$6r <br /> 1090, 1093 and 1097 subsequent to the date of printing of the <br /> Redwood City Code, by the omission of Ordinance No. 1006 by the <br /> printer, and by a printer' s error in Section 3.145: <br /> (a) Article =II, commencing at Section 13.40, is hereby <br /> added to Chapter 13 of the Redwood City Coder to read as follows: <br /> "ARTICLE III. RESTAURANT RATINGS <br /> "�ection 13.40 The Department of Public Health and <br /> Welfare shall inspect every restaurant offering food for <br /> consumption on the premises at least once in each calendar <br /> year and may inspect at more frequent intervals. Tf it is <br /> found that such restaurant does not qualify for an 'approved' <br /> rating,� as hereinafter provided, no permit to operate shall <br /> be issued and any permit previously issued shall be revoked <br /> or suspended as herein provided. <br /> "Section 13.41 Every restaurant offering food for <br /> consumption on the premises shall be rated by the Department <br /> of Public Health and Welfare as being 'Approved, "Provisional, ' <br /> or 'Unsatisfactory. ' The Department shall provide grading <br /> forms for the grading of the condition of the structure and <br /> its equipment and facilities and for the grading of the <br /> state of sanitation and cleanliness in which the premises <br /> and equipment and facilities are operated and maintained. <br /> Copies shall be maintained for pub lic inspection in the <br /> office of the City Clerk and in the Department. <br /> "Restaurants conforming to normal practices of good <br /> food handling, maintaining normally good sanitation and <br /> having a good physical plant shall be assigned a rating of <br /> 'Approved.
