<br /> REPORTER'S TRANSCRIPT OF PROCEEDINGS TAKEN 6-7-04 <br />1 residents of Redwood City. Unfortunately there was <br />2 no mention of the actual height or number of <br />3 residential towers. There was no mention of the <br />4 ten acres of bay fill, no mention of the 17 <br />5 significant unavoidable traffic impacts, including <br />6 Highway 101, Whipple Avenue and Woodside Road. <br />7 No mention of significant San Carlos <br />8 airport issues; no mention of wildlife mortality; <br />9 no mention of the impacts on Redwood City's limited <br />10 water supply. <br />11 When representatives from Glenborough-Pauls <br />12 attended our neighborhood meeting, Centennial <br />13 neighborhood, over a year ago, we expressed our <br />14 serious concerns about the project's effects on <br />15 Redwood City. <br />16 Residents submitted written comments on the <br />17 draft environmental impact report and provided oral <br />18 and written testimony at both planning commission <br />19 hearings and at the city council public hearing on <br />20 May 24th. <br />21 Throughout this process, neither the <br />22 developer nor the City have provided workable <br />23 solutions to concerns that were raised. <br />24 After completion of the draft environmental <br />25 impact report, the City should have sent its own <br /> UCCELLI & ASSOCIATES 8 <br /> (650) 952-0774 <br /> ... <br />
