School impacts, and, of <br /> 6 course, the San Carlos airport impacts. Open <br /> 7 space, there's not enough open space provided in <br /> 8 the development. And so those folks are going to <br /> 9 look for open space in other parts of Redwood City, <br /> 10 parks that are already very well used. Of course <br /> 11 bayfront impacts to aesthetics, wetlands and <br /> 12 wildlife, which cannot be mitigated. <br /> 13 And all of this for 1930 luxury condos with <br />i, <br /> 14 provisions for less than 100 low income units. And <br /> 15 while that's very commendable and 200 moderate <br /> 16 income units, also very commendable, I know in my <br /> 17 college at San Jose State, a new professor would <br /> 18 not be able to qualify for one of those moderate <br /> 19 income units, they come in under $50,000 a year and <br /> 20 I don't think they'd qualify. <br /> 21 And so I doubt they would qualify for the <br /> 22 luxury units. <br /> 23 So I think if we want our waterfront to -- <br /> 24 also the aesthetic impacts, if we want our <br /> 25 waterfront to look like Hong Kong or move in the <br /> UCCELLI & ASSOCIATES 114 <br /> (650) 952-0774 <br /> -- <br />
